About VITB
Vishnu Institute of Technology (VIT) was started in the academic year 2008-09, promoted by Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES), a renowned education house in India established during 1992 with the primary objective of rendering selfless, dedicated and yeomen service to the cause of higher education originally in the field of Engineering and subsequently in the field of Dental, Pharmacy, Science and Polytechnic in rural parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, India. Late Padmabhushan Dr.B.V.Raju was the founder of the society and presently headed by the Chairman Shri K.V.Vishnu Raju, an eminent educationalist and distinguished industrialist. The chairman is well supported by vice chairman SVES, Sri Ravichandran Rajagopal, an IIM alumni and expert in Business development, New Product and Application development, and Vendor Development. Shri K. Aditya Vissam is the Secretary of the Sri Vishnu Educational Society, and is the youngest member of the management team. Mr. Aditya is having expertise in managerial skills and work experience in well reputed companies both in US and UK.
VIT offers under graduate and post graduate programmes under different departments with highly qualified faculty and excellent infrastructure in computing, information technology, laboratories and library. Over a decade, this institute has witnessed significant growth and stands out as one of the best engineering colleges in A.P., India under the supervision of Director and Principal, Dr. D. Suryanarayana, an expert and outspoken interpreter with research activities, great administrative qualities and an eminent Professor of Computer Science and Engineering. The Institute has crown with Autonomous Status and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) (3.51/4) & National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Indian Merchant’s Chamber (IMC) recognized the services of VIT with its Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality award in education sector (2010, 2011, 2017) and Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) – Best in class Award (2012, 2018), Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) award (2022) for its contribution towards differently abled society.
